Together for Timnath ended operations on December 31, 2025, transferring assets to its successor, Timnath Main Street.

Friends and neighbors,
In 2022, Together for Timnath, a new all-volunteer community organization, began elevating the importance of downtown Timnath and building momentum for positive change. Three years later, in a survey conducted by the town, 81% of Timnath residents said the town should invest in revitalizing Old Town. This is an undeniable community mandate with momentum behind it.

One of Together for Timnath’s early initiatives was to encourage establishment of a local affiliate of the Colorado Main Street Program. That goal was achieved in 2025 with the formation of Timnath Main Street, a new nonprofit organization with initial funding and support provided by the town of Timnath. To further support this new organization, Together for Timnath is transferring its assets to Timnath Main Street.

“We’re grateful to Together for Timnath for fostering a movement in support of building a vibrant downtown and for being a major catalyst for establishing the new Timnath Main Street program. They have focused significant energy and attention from across Timnath on this community-defining issue.”
— Katie Gibson, Chairperson, Timnath Main Street

As we were preparing to close our doors at the end of 2025, one final contribution to the community’s future quietly took shape — an investment not in bricks or banners, but in imagination. In partnership with the University of Colorado Denver, Together for Timnath helped sponsor an urban design project that asked a simple but profound question: What could Old Town Timnath become?

The result is a compelling vision crafted by graduate student Dan Schumacher, whose final project offers one possibility for a revitalized Main Street — one that hums with life, welcomes new businesses, connects seamlessly with recreation and nature, and serves as the “heartbeat of the community.” His work paints a picture of a downtown that isn’t just functional, but magnetic. A place where people gather, linger and feel a sense of belonging.

Thank you for supporting our mission to advance Timnath’s downtown as the heart of greater Timnath. We hope you will continue to find ways to stay engaged with this effort. Though our work as an organization has ended, we hope the five values we championed on behalf of all of Timnath — fairness, stewardship, placemaking, good governance and civic engagement — will live on in the conversations we've sparked, the connections we've made and the vision we've shared.

Sincerely,
Together for Timnath Board Members
